I fully appreciate the wonderful creativity and hard work Sherlock fans put into enhancing the experience through graphics, GIFs, videos, fanfictions, etc. While I am in no place to say that anyone should stop, I am so utterly sick of all the overused Reichenbach graphics/GIFs. It has been so overdone! There are so many of them and eventually they stop being any different. I am completely numbed to this scene now because it’s all I see on my dash. People seem to have forgotten that there are other scenes outside of the fall and John at Sherlock’s grave. I am absolutely fanatical about this series, yet as hard as I cried when I watched this, I could seriously sit down and watch it with a straight face whilst reciting every line word-for-word. It has been so run into the ground that it has lost it’s meaning to me, and that is sad because Benedict and Martin’s performances are amazing here. Keep making cool things from this scene, by all means, but realize what you’re making has probably already been made by another fan, and remember that there are plenty of other amazing scenes throughout the series.

Fellow Sherlockians, we best make the most of series three, because I don’t think there will be a four.

If there is, were are damn lucky. However, Martin and ESPECIALLY Benedict are ridiculously busy, and their fame levels are shooting up quickly. They’ve both made it to the big screen in some very big films in some very big roles, and I don’t know if series four is doable. My guess is they will end it at series three, episode three. There will be no cliffhanger, we will just be left to assume that things go on as usual: Sherlock and John solving cases, Anderson lowering the IQ of all within a mile radius of him, Lestrade not giving a fuck, Mrs. Hudson being awesome, and tons and tons of subtext.

Am I the only one who is going to be SOBBING when I see Martin Freeman at The Oscars next year for The Hobbit? Sunday Feb 2 @ 10:25pm

“I’m not his date!”

A very poorly made video based on this post by this person (couldn’t link back to the original permalink).

“I love Doctor Who. I had sworn I would never love anything as much as I love this show. But then Sherlock happened.”

Though I still love DW, Sherlock has taken over my entire life.

In which John Watson receives a letter saying he was on Punk’d the whole time and Sherlock is alive and standing there with a camera crew.

GREAT, they’re in Sherlock now, too.

At first, I REALLY didn’t want Moffat and Gatiss to bring Mary Morstan into the series. However, I have changed my mind. I really hope they bring her in. This is how I hope it plays out…

I hope when Sherlock comes back into John’s life, John is with Mary and has been for a while.

I hope she and John will be extremely affectionate and snuggly all the time. I hope she lives with John. As a matter of fact, I hope he even had the nerve to stay in 221B and LET HER LIVE THERE. I hope he pays for all of her food. I hope he calls her little pet names. I hope she HATES Sherlock, and John does nothing about it. I hope she leaves the room each time Sherlock enters. I hope she practically wants to kill him. I hope he wakes up nights and she is right there glaring at him with eyes of death. I hope scratches at Sherlock’s heart.

Yes, I simply can’t wait for Miss Mary Morstan; John Watson’s pet cat. They would be PURRFECT for each other.

All Wholockians need to click this and CHECK THIS OUT. Now, I don't know how to save this or cut the bit out to make it into a video, but...

this is Reichenbach. Click it and drag the bar to five minutes and thirty seconds in. Watch that bit, and you’ll realize that soon after Jim walks into the room with the Crown Jewels, you hear the footstep of a CYBERMAN. Just do it. If anybody is good with this kind of this, cut that bit of the video and share it on here!

“Remember that you were loved by me, and that you made my life a happy one… and there is no tragedy in that.

If I ever feel the need to have one of those ‘relationship’ things, we will not celebrate the poor excuse for a holiday that is Valentine’s Day. No way. We will celebrate on January 29th every year, because Sherlock and John.

Better yet, no matter when we meet, even if it’s January 30th, I shall make said significant other wait until the 29th of January to start dating me. That way it will be our anniversary.

… and I wonder why nobody wants to date me.

I have always imagined that if John Watson’s sister Harry comes into the series, she would be really funny. Don’t know why, just a head-canon I suppose. I thought of Catherine Tate playing Harry, and now I can’t get the idea out of my head. I feel as if she’d be PERFECT.

Now I actually want Harry to become part of the show. When reading Performance in a Leading Role, she is the only person I could imagine as Harry.

The Sherlock fandom without Madlori is like Sherlock Holmes without London.

OH WAIT, CBS is already doing that.

However, my point was not to complain about the new modern-day American Sherlock. If you haven’t read Alone on the Water or Performance in a Leading Role, I weep for you.

WE LOVE YOU, LORI! On behalf of the fandom, I would like to thank you for making our lives better and more filled with fangirl/fanboy squeals, laughter, and lots of creys. Seriously. LOTS of creys. Your stories have inspired and entertained so many, resulting in tons of fan-art, writing and other creative endeavors. Very often I will think of one of my favorite lines from Sherlock and wonder, “what episode is that from, again?” Then I realize, it’s from one of your fics. They’re practically canon in my mind. Thank you for bestowing your marvelous gifts upon us! I can’t wait to read your other works.

We keep focusing on how broken John is going to be, but I think when John and Sherlock reunite, Sherlock is probably going to be in a very bad state.

He can barely cope without a case. He will have gone (potentially) three years having to lay-low; no cases, probably no London, no John. In an instant, he had the three most important things in his life completely stripped away. I’m thinking he will be on very hard drugs, more addicted than ever, and he will probably on them almost constantly. Drugs were a bigger part of Sherlock’s character in the original canon and knowing the fanboyness of Moffat and Gatiss, they’re going to work it in even more. With the ACD canon, if his mind was not running at a million miles a minute, he was on cocaine. Cocaine or not, I think it will be something extreme— it’s not like he would have anybody around to stop him. Unless he is, for some reason, still seeing Mycroft regulary, he will not be able to control himself. That’s why Mrs. Hudson, John and Mycroft were always trying to help him quit his smoking habit, and it had been implied that it used to be something stronger than cigarettes. Although he has always been so logical, brilliant, and composed, addiction is his weakness. Like I said, I think he is going to be in a terrible state that takes him a long time to recover from, and it is going to be very hard on John who will have to (and want to) be the one to help him through it. If this does happen, I think it will be very sad.
