I used to not love Martha Jones, but I recently realized that I really love her now.

Donna will always be my favorite companion, and I will never seriously ship The Doctor with anyone but 10/Rose and sometimes 11/River, but MARTHA WAS A BADASS.

Wait, so Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill were friends BEFORE Doctor Who? Does anybody know how they met?

I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP.

“I love Doctor Who. I had sworn I would never love anything as much as I love this show. But then Sherlock happened.”

Though I still love DW, Sherlock has taken over my entire life.

ANYBODY LIVE IN THE WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA AREA?

I’m moving there this fall, and going down to have a visit and look around very soon. Hopefully next month when BEN FOLDS FIVE HAS THEIR FIRST CONCERT TOGETHER IN THIRTEEN YEARS!!!

Ever wondered what the lovechild of Sherlock Holmes and Rory Williams would grow up to look like? …No? Me neither. But here’s Benedict Cumberbatch and Arthur Darvill. They make one fine looking man.

No new Doctor Who until Autumn… up until Sunday and for long after (I’m betting on a thirty-seven year hiatus), no Sherlock. I’m convinced nothing will ever scrape the tips of the amazing quality of these two shows. These two beautiful works of televised art. ART.

But… what do I do with my life now?! What should I watch now?? SO MANY RERUNS. I NEED NEW MATERIAL. I’ve watched a couple episodes of Supernatural and I’m not really sure that I’d enjoy it. I’ve heard Merlin is good, is Merlin good? I like good things. But is it AS good? Or is it CLOSE to as good?

Dear everyone complaining about Moffat and claiming him to be “sexist,” a bad writer, or even going as far as stating that “he doesn’t understand Doctor Who…”

Nowadays, Moffat IS Doctor Who, and together Moffat and Gatiss ARE Sherlock. So if you dislike his writing and themes so much, why do you still love the shows? Stop bashing him; he is a brilliant man, and his Twitter update from August WAS A JOKE! And also, like I said, THIS WAS IN AUGUST. Stop turning it into some huge political issue! It’s nice to know that he has respect for women. Sure, he obviously does hold women in high esteem, perhaps higher than men, but everyone is entitled to an opinion and in this case he was just being funny. So many others could have gotten away with this. I think y’all just need to lighten up. (for those of you who haven’t seen it…)

To me, it always seems like he is very keen on making sure to respect all men and women (or “other” as often seen in DW) whatever their sexuality. He goes out of his way to make his works diverse with people of different strengths, weaknesses, personalities, characteristics, sexuality and confidence. Just look at Captain Jack Harkness, played by John Barrowman, a character of Moffat’s own creation.  If you don’t like Moffat, you don’t like Sherlock and you most certainly don’t like Doctor Who. In my opinion and with all due respect, he’s ten times the writer Russel T. Davies ever was. Nobody understands Doctor Who like Steven Moffat does. He puts his entire heart into everything he writes and is a part of. He comes up with brilliant plot twists and leaves us wondering, he scares the hell out of us and cracks us up, he makes us SO impatient that we want to punch something (in fact I’m sure many people have) but then leaves us so satisfied with the turnout, every time. He comes up with fantastic and dynamic characters who we grow to know and love. Either respect the man and his works, or respect neither. I love Moffat. If you don’t, why are you still watching?

I’M OUT.

If anybody still has their ability to can after seeing this, I worry about you.

I think a lot of the people who talk about how “ugly” Matt Smith is are people who aren’t able to accept anyone who isn’t cookie-cutter good looking. Let’s face it, his look is nothing of a George Clooney or Ben Affleck esque-style. Frankly, though they are very handsome, I don’t usually go for normal, classic “good looking” types. Matt is EXTREMELY unique looking, and I personally believe that makes him all the more attractive. There isn’t another person on this planet who looks just like him, not even close. For a man, I think he is beautiful, and he has got a wonderful personality and kindness to suit that. I wish people would stop saying such mean things about him and his appearance. Not one of us can help the way we look, and even if I didn’t find him to be physically attractive, I’d still see him as wonderful and beautiful because that is who he is
